With reference to renovation and energy requalification we can improve, in addition to the energy class, also the real performance of the building we are working on to achieve better living comfort and well-being for its inhabitants. We respect building, material and formal traditions, integrating them with architectural and technological innovation.

In the field of protected architectural heritage restoration, Studio A_LAB deals with this kind of intervention, that can prove to be very challenging, ensuring to manage at best the complex protection rules, the relationship with the Superintendence and the general authorization procedures, as well as the use of the most modern technologies and materials in the restoration field.

Studio A_LAB’s integrated design also includes the lighting project that is often underrated and assigned to general operators. By integrating lighting devices, analysing how they contribute to general quality and living comfort, we can guarantee optimal results, consistent with customer requirements, both in living and working spaces.

Studio A_LAB’s approach to integrated design finds its highest expression when the architectural project includes also the design and creation of project-specific furniture and equipment. We configure spaces not as simple containers, but we do integrate interior design with the architectural space. As a result, this approach transforms a generic project in an extremely customized one, consistent with the client’s character.
